18 week update

18 weeks and feeling great! I was afraid I wouldn't feel well today without the morning sickness medicine but so far, so good. I have another bottle of medicine but I think I'll be okay without it. Hoping at least!
A few more weeks and I'll know what we're having! I go on the 19th of February and cannot wait to find out! It's so exciting! I feel it move all the time now and just want to know what it is. If it's a boy, he'll be Owen Scott Schrader. If it's a girl, Sarah (middle name?) Schrader.
April 5-9 is spring break so we're going to FL .
Nothing too new on the home front.. just playing in the snow and getting ready to start the week all over again. Hope your weekend went well and have a great week!

Week 17!

I'm starting on week 17 and I've gained 6 pounds this last 4 weeks. HA! So, I'm now at 147lbs and have to say, most of it is in my belly and my hooha's haha.. They have grown and I found the most comfortable bra in the world, surprisingly it is a nursing bra. It's magnificant!

Not too much going on in our world except the trio of Schrader's/Kennedy is doing really well and we're all living harmoniously. It's good stuff!

We watched the Curious Case of Bejamin Button - very long, very sad, but very good! I cried a few times and it was a tad depressing, but man, it was such a good story and great plot. Thanks Netflix!

Next appointment is February 19th.. I think I'll be 22 weeks at that time (I don't feel like counting right now) but that is the BIG day! I'll be updating, but that'll be the best post ever!

16 weeeks - 4 months baby!

I am 16 weeks pregnant.. well, tomorrow I will be so I'm a little early. I'm so excited to have my appointment on Friday. Even though I won't have a u/s until week 20, it's always exciting to hear the heart beat.

Hoping things goes well at my job.. Last night I was really stressed and felt like I was already having braxton hicks. Not sure if that's what happened but that's what I am thinking.

Hopefully I am done taking my phenagren. I didn't take it last night and I felt fine this morning. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

5 months and I get to hold little baby #2!

I'm just pooped

I know every job has it's hoochies that try to take your man. I know every job you'll end up hating one person. I know every job will stress you out every now and then, but do I really need to be stressed?
I won't be there this winter, if all goes according to plan, so I'm busting my tail for what? Job security? I haven't taken a lunch break in 1.5 weeks and I am just getting tired. Along with working 9+ hours a day, I come home and have to 'deal' with home life. Sad that I just 'deal' with it right now but I am just tired and stressed...

15 weeks and counting.. I can't wait for my 5 month appt to HOPEFULLY get an ultrasound. If only I could be that lucky.

...gotta get happy and de-stress.

Sustain Me!

Wow, I was reading a verse from today's little e-mail devotional and it struck a cord and man, I am happy!

Isaiah 46:4, "Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." (NIV)

When I am down and sad, all I do is think about the little things that make me upset and I get even more sad. But why? I have a loving God who will sustain and rescue me! Do you know what this means!?! It's more than an amazing thing.. it's LIFE! Even when I am old, the Lord will be next to me and will take me safely to the next day.

It's like that amount of food I need to get me going in the morning so I don't pass out.. it's like the gas in my truck to take me places.. He should be first in our lives because He's the only one who can carry us where we belong.

I'm praying for a long, healthy life and you know what? I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength!

BTW, I received my 5 books and have started reading one by Dave Ramsey.. it's amazing how someone can write a book to help millions and put verses here or there. Picking that book out, I didn't know he was a Christian but I'm sure he's helped a ton of people save their financial lives and bring some to the Lord. I'm praying for financial peace.. BRING IT ON, LORD!

14 weeks, baby

I am feeling really good today! Felt great yesterday too. Unfortunately, my back hurts pretty bad. I read it's because my hips are starting to spread a little, but come on! Give me a break! I have to sit in an uncomfortable chair all day and stare at a computer. No relief I tell ya, no relief.

So, nothing new here.. Just thought I'd stop by and post a little bit. Hopefully you're having a good week! It's cold up here.. brrr!!!
